What I Have Learned

I took a Digital Media class this past spring semester at The University of South Florida. While challenging, I found this class to be overall very rewarding. As a senior, I really felt I hadn’t learned as much about my major as needed. I learned about PPC ads. What they are, and how they are important. I heard a lot of professors briefly talk about it,but it was never really beaten into my memory and mad to actually understand and use it until this course.

This turned out to be a win-win situation because of learning about PPC ads. I took a course this semester that having the knowledge of how to actually write PPC ads helped immensely.

Now, PPC ads were not the only thing I learned. I also learned how to work in groups long term, and to work with others over just being the boss or individual that everyone has to listen to, and telling everyone what to do. This whole semester had a great deal of group work, and I learned a lot about listening to others opinions and not just dismissing ideas. I had an awesome group this semester that really worked well together. We were always fair about splitting up work, and when I was going through tough times in my personal life, th group was there to pull me back in and keep me focused.

I really could not have asked for a better group f people to work with. It was a very diverse group too. Filled with cultures from around the world. I learned so many invaluable skills this semester fr Professor Ritter’s Digital Media course, that if able I will be taking another course of his again next semester.

Another large takeaway from this course was building a marketing campaign. I can’t stress enough how much it is needed to understand marketing. So, If you are going to go to The University of South Florida, do yourself a favor and take Digital Media.

Why is it Important to utilize different types of content in your campaign?

Content is King! That is one thing that everyone should know about the world of marketing. There is not single more important thing you can do to improve your awareness, trust, and brand loyalty. People have a tendency to watch content that is appealing and familiar to them. Not to mention thinks that are eye catching. That’s the big one! If you are trying to grab people’s attention as a new product or company, Content is the key!

Content can be many different things, but good content This day and age, is vital. Info-graphs, memes, videos, and how to’s are all different forms of content. Even product reviews, testimonials, and even internet lists are considered content.

There are so many benefits to using good content it would behoove an individual to not try to use it. It sets you apart from your competitors. Not to mention, it can give you a platform to show expertise in the particular field, product, or service you are trying to advertise. Showing potential customers that you know what you are doing and what you’re talking about can help give you a leg up to the competition.

Another big benefit with content marketing, is that it can be very inexpensive. Small businesses can use and create a good deal of content for not a lot of money, and create new leads. That’s what it is all about, creating a stronger bond with your established customer base as well as giving new leads to how where, why, and how the content marketing is perceived, and viewed.

There is no better marketing for the world right now, then content marketing. It puts the consumer first, and makes them feel they can make a difference through things like reviews and testimonials. In 2020 content is king, and I’m sure it will continue to grow and grow as our technological advances in society and the world increase. So, do yourself a favor, and use content marketing.

Why are Google ads important for advertisers?

Google ads for advertisers? It just makes sense. There are many reasons that Goodgle ads is important for advertisers, and today we will examine a few.

For starters, Google is the #1 search engine used in the entire world! That right there should be insight enough on why it is so important to use by advertisers. When it boils down to it. Compared to most other companies and different types and ways ads are ran, Google Ads is the most user friendly, and you do not have to be an IT expert to use it. when people need question answered or have a problem that they need solved that they do not the answer to, 9 times out off 10 they are using google. It’s even become a verb in the English language. So, if you are a business owner, large or small. you should really look into running your campaigns using Google ads.

What’s best for Belize?

When it comes to The Belize Collection, I think the best channel for them to use is by far social media. Social media is ingrained into every single aspect of our lives. I think Facebook should honestly be the main social media platform that we should use.

Now, there is a great deal of other people in this age demographic that use other social media apps other than Facebook, but Facebook is the predominantly used social media channel used by such. Why Advertising Strategy is Important

A lot of people don’t realize that there is an actual strategy to advertising. This is a very important tool for an advertiser. No military operation would be deployed without a strategy because people’s lives are on the line. The same type of strategy should be employed by an advertising firm because in reality, most jobs are on the line and a proper strategy being deployed can show a company you really care about them and the awareness that is trying to be brought to light by such campaign.

According to Forbres.com, a strategy is important and unwavering. This may not be fun, but it is important. An advertiser can stray away from his strategy because it has to be implemented step by step to work. A strategy is not something you just tweak as you go. Strategy in advertising is so important because not only does it give your campaign a course of action, but it also gives your client an idea of how you are going to implement the campaign.

The world of digital media

When it comes to the world of digital marketing, I would like to have a better understanding of how the digital media world operates, and how having a good understanding of digital media , and being able to implement it going forward can really help me in later endeavors in life.

It’s crazy when you think about it, but digital media is everywhere. Every time a person watches television or uses their computer or even cell phones. We absorb so much digital media. According to learn.org, “Digital media includes any format or device used to convey content using digital signals.”(learn.org, 2020). This is important because it puts into focus how much of this type of media is ingrained into our daily lives. I would like to be able to use levels of digital media to potentially attract an employer in the future.

Currently being a Mass Communications student at The University of South Florida, I have become very interested in how to properly use digital media in an effective manner. As stated on Wisegeek.com, “In most cases, the primary function of any digital media company is to enable interaction and communication in some way”.(Wisegeek.com, 2020). This case and point can help me shape and mold the desired skills to advance further in my career ambitions.

I know digital media is everywhere, and is used in many different formats to reach whoever the intended audience is, but I’m not quite skilled enough to execute that type of plan. Not yet, but in time I hope to learn what is need to be able to move forward using digital media to help me round out my resume and skill set needed in an Public Relations profession. My weakest knowledge is in program writing, and would really like to be able to learn more about that with hopes of actually understanding it.
